How We Filmed Our First Shoot in the New Forest — The Start of VLTA PADL

There’s something special about doing things with your mates — especially when you’re building something from the ground up. A few weeks ago, we headed to the New Forest for our first-ever VLTA PADL shoot, and we thought we’d share a bit about how it went down, why we chose the location, and what it means to be launching this brand together.

Just a Bunch of Mates With a Vision

VLTA PADL started the way most good things do — as an idea thrown around between friends. We’re not a massive company or a team of marketing execs with endless budgets. We’re just a group of mates who love padel, design, and street culture, and we wanted to create something that represented our world both on and off the court.

We didn’t want to wait for the “perfect time” or some big investment to get going. So we got creative, got resourceful — and just got started.

Why the New Forest?

We picked the New Forest because it's got a raw, stripped-back energy — kind of like how we see the early days of our brand. It's quiet but powerful. Natural but unpredictable. And the contrast of streetwear-styled padel gear in the middle of a forest? That’s a vibe.

We weren’t trying to make it polished or corporate — we wanted the shoot to feel real, like something that came straight from our world.

Shooting on a Shoestring (and a Lot of Coffee)

This wasn’t a big-budget production. We had:

• A couple of cameras

• A car boot full of samples

• A playlist on loop

• Way too many snacks
  

What We're Building With VLTA PADL

VLTA PADL is more than apparel. It’s a culture. It’s about the people who live beyond the court — who train hard, play harder, and want their gear to reflect how they actually live. It’s streetwear that performs. Activewear that’s not boring. And kit that doesn’t look like it was designed 10 years ago.

We’ve got big plans. But this shoot was our first small step — the start of something we believe in.
